72 Double Swan and Cygnet
At last a full sized double harp! Experience the creative possiblilites
of the Thormahlen Gemini 72 with 2 rows of 36 strings. Incredible power
and sound. It is strung like our other harps with concert spacing and
tension. We can make it as a Swan ($6895) or a Cygnet ($6595). You
choose.
- The Gemini Swan weighs about 32 lbs, 57” tall and the Gemini
Cygnet weighs about 29 lbs, 52” tall.
- We recommend a dark soundboard as accomplished double harp player
Liz Cifani says that you can see the strings much better with a dark
soundboard. This can be accomplished by a dark veneer or a stained
soundboard.
- Available in a variety of hardwoods with a Spruce soundboard.
- It comes with a padded Cordura case and two full sets of Camac Levers,
which are put on both sides of the harp, a set of lever tools, a tuning
key, an owners manual and a string chart.
- Available in nylon or folk harp lever gut strings.
- See photos of the Gemini Swan and Cygnet below.
Here are some photos of some of the Gemini Double harps we have
built. Some of the more experienced double harp players recommend
a darker soundboard to enable you to see the strings easier.
